2024+ Toyota Tacoma Tailgate Letter Inserts
This is an easy install that results in a subtle or stand out modification. Customize your brand new truck with ease.
Sold as two full sets. The more expensive colors are either special vinyl or custom printed.
NOTE: Red white blue option is two letters in red, two in white, and two in blue.
INSTALLATION
Clean the application area to prepare it for installation. Choose a relatively low humidity day and 70-80 degree weather if possible. Any variance from this will affect the installation.
NOTES: We recommend that the installation area be free of wax and not under direct sunlight. Some will choose to clean the application area with rubbing alcohol which is okay.
"Rubbing alcohol will not damage car paint if it is diluted to between 10% and 15%. Since rubbing alcohol evaporates quickly, it doesn't damage car paint."

Wet installs require one drop of dish or hand soap in a cup of water. Apply to the vinyl so that the first attempt doesn't make the vinyl permanently stick to the surface. Then you can slide it around and push out the extra water once it is in place with your fingers.
Try doing the install in the shade so it doesn't heat up the vinyl rapidly. Keep a hair dryer around if you want to apply light heat to dry it out once properly aligned. Otherwise you can park it back in the sun and push down the corners. Please make sure all the letters are dry before driving the vehicle or using the object it has been applied to.
Adding small amount of heat to the vinyl after positioned can help it dry out faster.
