Four-piece FRP body kit with Cobra R aggressive styling and genuine fiberglass-reinforced plastic construction. Requires Surface Prep, so you can sand and prep the surface before applying your chosen finish. FRP resists cracking better than standard plastic and accepts paint like factory panels once properly prepped.
Do I need to paint each panel separately before installation?
No — you can assemble and install the kit first, then mask and paint the entire body kit as one unit on the vehicle. Alternatively, paint the panels off-car for easier masking and more controlled results. Either method works; choose based on your workspace and spray setup.
What fasteners or mounting hardware come with this kit?
The kit includes the four FRP panels only. You'll source your own fasteners based on your vehicle's OEM mounting points — bolts, clips, or adhesive. Confirm mounting locations on your specific vehicle before purchasing hardware.
Will seam tape or gap filler be needed between panels?
FRP panels sit tight when aligned correctly. Minor gaps can be filled with spot putty during prep if needed. Avoid over-relying on filler for panel fitment — take time to align panels flush before final fastening, and any filler work will be minimal.

Most of our tail lights connect to your factory wiring without modification. The exact install type is in the spec sheet — if anything beyond direct plug-in is needed, we say so upfront.
Some CAN-bus vehicles (commonly BMW, Audi, certain Euro models) may show a "tail light malfunction" error when LED tail lights replace OEM bulbs. The fix is usually a load resistor or quick coding step — we'll walk you through it if it happens.
Most of our tail lights are designed for street use and meet standard automotive lighting requirements. A small number are sold for off-road or show use only — and when that's the case, we say so clearly.

Parts ship unpainted and require professional prep, prime, and paint before final installation. Minor adjustments during fitting are normal and expected, this is how custom builds get a factory-quality result.

Yes. Duraflex parts are engineered for professional prep, prime, and paint. They're built for builders doing a proper custom finish. Your body shop has almost certainly worked with Duraflex before, it's the most widely used fiberglass aero brand in the aftermarket.
Your shop will sand, test-fit, smooth any minor imperfections, prime, and paint to your exact color spec. Minor waves or uneven edges on raw fiberglass are completely normal and are addressed during prep, this is standard for any custom aero build.
Duraflex parts are designed to fit within acceptable custom aero tolerances. Because they're flexible fiberglass rather than OEM plastic, minor adjustments during fitting are normal and expected. Your body shop will dial in the gaps during the test-fit stage before paint.
