Our Reservoir Cap Cover will fit most BMW vehicles equipped with the S55 and S63 engines (please check your coolant cap to ensure that it is the same shape as seen in the product photos). This cover will affix on top of your factory charge cooler reservoir cap like a glove and can be installed quickly in seconds.
Our carbon fiber products are constructed with a consistent carbon weave pattern. Made with AutoTecknic's signature autoclave dry carbon technology, our products offer a perfect fit and finish.
Dry carbon is the highest-quality version of carbon fiber products that are produced. Dry carbon fiber's name comes from its manufacturing process. Dry carbon fiber is formed using a "pre-preg" or impregnated piece of carbon materials. This piece of carbon is first placed into a mold and then into a sealed vacuum (autoclave) to properly cure. This method creates the least amount of waste and forms a lighter version of carbon than the “wet” method. The autoclave vacuuming process of making dry carbon means fewer pinholes and virtually no air pockets in the carbon.
Our production processes allow for an exceptional pre-preg carbon/resin ratio, creating high product stiffness and adding strength and resistance. Our products are coated with a high gloss, UV-resistant clear coat that resists yellowing and does not chip or flake for a stunning finish.
