Description
(AlpTech MK6.5 Jetta Clears feature a full LED tail light with sequential turn signals. This product is completely redesigned from Euro LED tail lights and serves as a great OEM+ upgrade to switch from halogen options.
Harnesses are now shipped together with the tail lights. Please choose which harness you require above (NON-GLI Harness or GLI Harness)
Features: Each tail light boasts a fully transparent lens and electroplated interior. The lens is freshly molded using a high-quality UV-coated acrylic. This product is heat-sealed to the inner housing and does not feature any glue or cut marks around the border of the lens. Due to our desire for a fully clear tail light, some edge marks may be visible from the heat seal process. This is standard and often overlooked with traditional red tail lights. However, serving as a strong seal for the lens and housing, it has no effect on the performance of the tail light.
Harness: For Mk6.5 Base Models and trim levels below GLI, a harness will be required to adapt the Euro-style plug to U.S. Spec vehicles. Thanks to John at MK6ix, a plug-and-play harness is available for lower trim models.
GLI Harness: To combat this issue regarding the brake channel, a more intensive harness is made. This harness is not for beginners. It will require some patience, and additional experience will be highly anticipated. By purchasing the harness, you understand that it is not a plug and play install and professional help is highly recommended if no prior experience is available.
Each set will come with new foam seals for each light. We always recommend sticking with the OEM seals unless they are deteriorating or damaged upon removal. It is important to remove the backing paper if using the new foam seals and adhere them evenly to the tail light itself. Damages due to improper installation will not be covered.
