AlpTech’s MK5 Jetta Euro LED Clear Tails feature a top of the line finish and serve as a perfect upgrade for any MK5 Jettas looking to adapt to LED tail lights.
Each set is made with a high quality UV resistant acrylic lens and is water tested before being packaged. Each set will include the tail lights, installation instructions, and the required depinning tools.
We wanted to make it as simple as possible for the retrofit which is why we will be providing a plethora of installation videos and coding videos below.
Coding and depinning ARE REQUIRED, without coding, you run the risk of damaging the LED’s or the vehicle itself. We will not be responsible for those who cut corners and do not have the tail lights professionally installed if you do not feel comfortable with the process.
The installation is DIY friendly, with any questions or concerns consult our friend Google as despite being clear, they are the same as any other MK5 Jetta European LED tail light.
Each set will come with new foam seals for each light. We always recommend sticking with the OEM seals unless they are deteriorating or damaged upon removal. It is important to remove the backing paper if using the new foam seals and adhere them evenly to the tail light itself. Damages due to improper installation will not be covered.
