How to Install
For Best Results
Tools: Heat Gun or Blow Dyer / Padded Glove or Felt Tip Squeegee
- Rinse / Soap your headlight area/headlight under to rid it of dust and debris.
- Peel off Headlight under eye-lid overlay.
- Note: if you mess up placement, peel off the overlay with ease. DO NOT heat up the overlay until the desired placement has been met.
- Align the edge that is closest to the outside of the bumper under the headlight where the matte plastic is.
- Once aligned, use your other hand to guide where the overlay will sit under the headlight.
- It is made to be AT or CLOSE TO the plastic portion that sits under the headlight.
- The under eyelid should follow the matte plastic curve if positioned correctly otherwise, you may pull or adjust as needed.
- Be careful as this area is small and will take some patience to get it perfect.
- Lift when needed to readjust position.
- The tail of the headlight overlay that goes toward the frunk should end up right under the curvature that connects the fender to the bumper.
- Once the placement is met, PLEASE FOLLOW BELOW INSTRUCTIONS FOR ADHESION
- If you have a blow dryer or heat gun, use it to get rid of any tiny bubbles and improve adhesion
- If there are bubbles make sure you press firmly with your finger and swipe it toward the closest edge
- If you mess up, you can peel it off immediately with no hassle, and add some heat to get rid of the wrinkles.
- ** REMEMBER TO POST-HEAT** the vinyl after laying, this will activate the glue behind the overlay which will enhance tackiness.
- NOTE: Gloss Black OUT has a PET liner, must be peeled off after install for a complete super gloss finish.
