No. This is a front lip that mounts to your lower bumper only. It sits forward of the trunk area and has no contact with rear components. Verify clearance with your exhaust piping before final installation.

Can I use adhesive instead of drilling, or do I need to drill through the bumper?

This piece uses factory mounting holes in your existing bumper — no new drilling required. Use quality fasteners rated for plastic and torque per your vehicle's service manual. Adhesive alone is not recommended for front bumper components exposed to highway speeds.

How stable is this at highway speed?

FRP is rigid and won't flex or rattle when properly fastened. Inspect your fasteners before your first drive, then periodically check them during regular maintenance. This piece is designed to stay put on track and street.

Duraflex is the go-to choice for builders doing a proper custom build using flexible fiberglass engineered to be shaped, fitted, and finished by a body shop. This is how serious aero work gets done.

The build process:

  • Sand and smooth the surface before fitting, which is standard for fiberglass aero
  • Test fit before you paint. Pros always do this, it's part of the process

This isn’t on K2, but the lenses came In which I was thrilled about. I’d already removed my OEM lenses from their housings. The passenger side lense fit well and mostly flush. The driver side, however, looks like it was slightly warped and caused poor fitment and what looks like a small dip in the red portion of the lense. I had no choice but to use them, as my OEM lenses were no longer usable. It can be very difficult to get replacement lenses in a timely manner for a Del Sol. I drive my car everyday, so I had to just go with it. Again, not a K2 issue but presumably the manufacturer.

The box was a little crushed, but the line was packed well and it wasn't a problem. The instructions are 3 pages of color pictures and lots of explanations. Very nice. The line itself is a very nice bit of kit with a swivel AN line end that allows a No-tension install. No leaks so far and it looks great. It came with new banjo bolts and copper crush washers. The only criticism I have is that I would have liked this hose coated in black so it disappears like the original, but it does look good, so I don't mind.

What does the prep and install process look like?

Your shop will sand, test-fit, smooth any minor imperfections, prime, and paint to your exact color spec. Minor waves or uneven edges on raw fiberglass are completely normal and are addressed during prep, this is standard for any custom aero build.

How close will the panel gaps be?
