FAQs

Will these be plug-and-play for my car?

Most of our headlights connect to your factory wiring without modification. The exact install type is in the spec sheet — if your year/model needs anything beyond plug-in, we tell you upfront.

Do I need to code my car after installing?

Some BMW and Audi models require coding to register aftermarket headlights — without it, you may see a dashboard warning even though the lights work fine. Most vehicles don't need this. If yours does, it's a quick fix at any indie shop or via Bimmercode.

Is condensation normal?

A small amount can happen in any headlight (including OEM) during rapid temperature changes — it usually clears within a few hours. Persistent moisture or pooling isn't normal. If you see this in the first 30 days, send us a photo and we'll get you a replacement.

What if I get an "adaptive headlight" error?

If your car originally had adaptive headlights (steering-responsive — common on some BMW, Audi, Mercedes) and you're swapping to non-adaptive units, you may see a dashboard error. This can usually be coded out — message us and we'll walk you through it.

We've done this for 30,000+ builds. We've seen every weird trim combo and factory option. Takes us 2 minutes to verify, saves you weeks of headaches.

What if the part arrives damaged or is the wrong item?

We handle it. You don't fight with freight companies or file claims. Text us photos within 48 hours of delivery. If it's damaged or wrong, we ship a replacement immediately. You're not waiting 6 weeks for a freight claim to process. We eat the cost, not you. This is why we package everything like it's going to war. But if something slips through, we fix it ASAP. Depending on where you're located, small parts can ship free. Large parts like bumpers, hoods, and body kits require freight shipping. Uou'll see the exact cost at checkout before you pay. Freight usually runs $150-$300 depending on size and your location. We know it's expensive. We negotiate the best rates we can. If you're ordering multiple large parts, text us. We can sometimes combine shipping and save you money. We're not hiding fees in the final step. What you see at checkout is what you pay.

How long will it take to receive my order?

It depends on where you are. Orders processed here will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Overseas deliveries can take anywhere from 7-16 days. Delivery details will be provided in your confirmation email.

They look amazing, and after using ChatGPT to help me understand how to install them (because the instructions were not very helpful whatsoever), I’m glad with how they turned out. This isn’t on K2, but the lenses came In which I was thrilled about. I’d already removed my OEM lenses from their housings. The passenger side lense fit well and mostly flush. The driver side, however, looks like it was slightly warped and caused poor fitment and what looks like a small dip in the red portion of the lense. I had no choice but to use them, as my OEM lenses were no longer usable. It can be very difficult to get replacement lenses in a timely manner for a Del Sol. I drive my car everyday, so I had to just go with it. Again, not a K2 issue but presumably the manufacturer.

The box was a little crushed, but the line was packed well and it wasn't a problem. The instructions are 3 pages of color pictures and lots of explanations. Very nice. The line itself is a very nice bit of kit with a swivel AN line end that allows a No-tension install. No leaks so far and it looks great. It came with new banjo bolts and copper crush washers. The only criticism I have is that I would have liked this hose coated in black so it disappears like the original, but it does look good, so I don't mind.
